A year at our school

Colour Run

The Colour Run is one of our school’s most exciting and memorable annual fundraising events. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to come together, get active, and have fun while supporting a great cause. Funds raised from the event go directly towards purchasing much-needed equipment and resources for our school.

NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week is a vibrant celebration at our school, starting with the NAIDOC March and featuring cultural events like the Yulunga Games and NAIROC Dance performances. The week concludes with our popular NAIDOC Fete, a fun-filled day of stalls, face painting, music, food, and our famous Haunted House. A time to come together with our community to celebrate culture and connection.

Book Week

Each year, Book Week shines a spotlight on the vital role literacy plays in every student’s learning journey. With a new theme each year, our school embraces this celebration to inspire a deep love of reading and highlight how literacy opens doors to future success. The week is filled with activities that bring stories to life, culminating in our much-loved Book Week Parade, a joyful event enjoyed by students, staff, and families alike

Swimming and Athletics Carnival

Our annual sports carnivals are a wonderful celebration of student talent, teamwork, and school spirit. Students proudly wear their house colours — Ophir, Byng, and Pinnacle — as they participate in a variety of inclusive events that encourage everyone to get involved. These days are filled with energy, togetherness, and great sportsmanship, making them highlights of our school year.
